IMMORTALITY IS HERE

Physical immortality is a state of life that allows a person to avoid physical death and maintain conscious thought. It can mean the unending physical existence of any person or living thing. Trees may be one example of such type of existence.

Some species of animals naturally possess biological immortality'due to a lack of the Hayflick limit which is the number of times a normal somatic, differentiated cell population will divide before cell division stops in any organism including human. The reversal of the possibility of such stoppage is the MensBarrier, or the breakthrough of life over death, disease or injury by the rapid multiplication of aware neural clusters.  Jellyfish may be an example of such capability.

This was to state the truth that we are all immortal creatures and the concept of death is obsolete.

Birds And Magic

Image
Birds and magic Because birds seem so common and exist everywhere, we often take them for granted and even consider them part of the landscape. However, these wonderful creatures can provide us with a simple yet powerful way to stay in tune with the natural world and its seasonal markers. In addition to maintaining this connection, birds can help us access different levels of energy and awareness no matter where we are, even in the concrete canyons of Manhattan. Birds can help us tap into the wisdom of the ages, too, because of the incredibly long spiritual relationship we have had with them. Associating birds with spirit is something that people of many faiths have done for thousands of years. Through the millennia, birds have represented freedom and the immortal soul, and have served as messengers of gods and goddesses as well as helpers to shaman. Although the symbolic roles of birds have evolved over time, they have been consistently associated with spirit and divinity. I...

The Banana God: Nature Mother's Hanging Ice-cream in the Sky

Banana Trees: The Overlooked Powerhouse of Sustainable Living In the vibrant world of flora, banana trees stand as stalwart examples of resilience and versatility. These tropical marvels not only provide us with delicious, nutrient-rich fruit but also play a significant role in promoting sustainable living. Despite their tropical origin, banana trees have managed to successfully adapt to various climates and environments, thereby enriching ecosystems across the globe. Banana trees, contrary to popular belief, are not trees like tropical teak or mahogany but giant herbaceous plants from the Musa genus. Their pseudo-stem, made of leaf sheaths, gives them the appearance of a tree, earning them their common name. My fascination with these plants stems not only from their unique biology but also their socio-economic significance. They offer an array of uses, from being a staple food source, a provider of shade or windbreaks, to even their leaves being used in vario...

The Cat

Image
Anyone who has ever lived with a cat (I won't say "owned" because no one actually   owns   a cat) knows that they are magical. Some of that magic is good, like when you are having a bad day and they start purring and magically make you feel better. Some of it is not so good, like when they magically get into the catnip you swore you'd hidden securely in a cabinet they couldn't possibly reach. Then, of course, there is the other kind of magic. The association between cats and witches goes back centuries, and modern days witches often find themselves drawn to cats, even if they don't use them in their magical practice. Cats were worshipped in Egypt, and many of us today still have a statue of the cat-headed goddess Bastet to adorn our altars. They were important in many other cultures, including those of India, Persia, China, Japan, and Greece. Unfortunately for cats, the Catholic Church didn't share that sentiment, and around the 1200s, declared that th...
